- Founder Fumio Kasahara established Kimitsu Chemical Institute, which aimed advanced chemical utilization of seaweed
- 1942
- Renamed Kimitsu Chemical Industries
- 1946
- Kimitsu Chemical Industries was incorporated and renamed as Kasahara Industries Co., LTD.
- 1947
- Renamed Kimitsu Chemical Industries Co., LTD

- Received an award from Small and Medium Enterprise Agency as an excellent company

- Received the Kanto Area Invention Award from Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation
Founder Fumio Kasahara was awarded Doctor's degree (Engineering) by Tokyo University for his developments on Alginate

- Concluded a Technical Assistance contract with Lorenzo Soriano S.A. in Argentina.

- Concluded a Technical Assistance contract with Korean Agriculture and Fishing Industry Development Public Corporation and Korean Seaweed Process Co. Ltd.

- Built up the first Alginate plant in Japan

- Fumio Kasahara, pH.D. was awarded "The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette" award

- KIMICA signed a contract of the marine product process technology development business (research of Fucoidan production) with the Fisheries Agency.

- Joined the "Marine Biomass Energy Transform Technology Research Institute" which was entrusted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
